After I got downstairs and went out the back door, I found the goose was standing right there, honking at me, standing on the cap of our well...It was an old hand dug well from hundreds of years ago, and it was tapping its beak on it. The goose was looking straight at me (sideways, actually, haha, their eyes are on either side) and wanted me to follow it. I walked to where it had been, and I stood there in my tshirt and shorts, then watched it walk over to the two trees in bloom. It stood there a long time looking at me, holding up the piece of cloth in the breeze. I am still uncertain what it wanted to say to me, but I have a few guesses. I did a great deal of research, and found that goose often means wisdom, or family, and it seemed as if it wanted me to make a decision, because shortly after that I left New York to embark on the adventure of my life to study shamanism in New Meixco. The two trees represent Beauty and Strength, and together with the goose as Wisdom, this is the Supernal Triangle of the Tree of Life. And most practical, it was probably trying to tell me my well was contaminated with ecoli. I would spend the next ten years detoxing myself and my children from being completely immersed in this bacteria for several years.
