Taos Pueblo is the oldest continuously functioning Native American village in our country. The adobe homes have been used as dwellings since time immemorial and teh sacred sites still carry their original names in the Pueblo laguage. Ladders allow access to the tops of the buildings, the adobce is restored almost yeary and repainted, and the bright colors of New Mexico create a vibrant feeling against teh bright bliue skies.
